The Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH) and an advisory group from schools of public health are developing a web-based tool to help current and prospective students see the diverse world of public health careers open to graduates of CEPH-accredited schools of public health. This application will allow individuals to search an interactive database of public health positions through using a number of search criteria.
Users will be able to find job profiles in a database through randomly or selectively combining search options from the following three criteria: area of public health, type of work, and employment setting. When the web-tool selects a position as a match, the user will see the detailed information provided through this survey.
Please take a few minutes to submit the following information through the survey tool at:
• Job Title
• Years in job
• Total years work experience
• Education
• Key focus of job and brief job description
• Salary range
• Location
• Your contact information, in case ASPH has questions about the information you have submitted. Your contact information will not be published. Special notes from the field (things you would never see in a job description)
We will be raffling an iPad to all individuals who submit their information prior to May 31, 2011.
Please note all information will remain confidential. Individual names and contact information will not be shared. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey and letting potential public health students learn more about your profession. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to Ms. Allison Foster at afoster@asph.org.
